  • 100 g raw prawns
  • 250 g white fish fillet
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • ½ tsp Suzi Wan® Chilli Paste
  • 2 tsp Suzi Wan® Fish Sauce
  • 1 jar of Suzi Wan® Chop Suey Vegetables
  • 2 shallots
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 4 coriander sprigs
  • pepper
To make this dish as a starter, wrap each of the balls in half a spring roll wrapper that has been soaked in warm water in advance. Steam for 6 minutes or cook in a microwave for 3 minutes on full power.

  • Suzi Wan® Chilli Paste
  1. Peel the prawns. Peel and roughly chop the onions.
  2. Cut the fish into small pieces.
  3. Put the prawns, fish and onions in a blender and blend until well combined.
  4. Put the mixture in a bowl, add a tablespoon of fish sauce, the chilli paste, ginger and sesame oil. Mélangez bien le tout. Leave to marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  5. Form into balls and place on a plate.
  6. Drain the Chop Suey vegetables Peel and finely slice the shallots.
  7. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok and brown the shallots for 1 minute. Add the Chop Suey vegetables and leave to cook over a medium heat for approximately 5 minutes. Add the fish sauce. Keep warm.
  8. Fry the prawn and fish balls in ½ litre of vegetable oil. When they float to the surface they are cooked. Lay them on kitchen roll.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately with the vegetables and garnish the dish with coriander.
