  • 1 packet of Suzi Wan® Egg Noodles
  • 16 raw, peeled prawns
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 can of Suzi Wan® Bamboo Shoots
  • ½ packet of Suzi Wan® Black Mushrooms, rehydrated
  • ½ tsp Suzi Wan® Chilli Paste
  • 2 tbsp Suzi Wan® Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Suzi Wan® Fish Sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 chive sprigs
You can replace the prawns with chicken or pork fillet.

  1. Drain and rinse the bamboo shoots and mushrooms.
  2. Cut the mushrooms into strips.
  3. Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions.
  4. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan, then cook the onion and prawns for 3 minutes, stirring continually.
  5. Remove the prawns from the wok.
  6. Add the mushrooms, bamboo shoots, chilli paste, lemon juice, soy sauce and fish sauce to the wok. Stir and leave to cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Add the drained noodles, prawns and finely chopped chives. Stir and leave to cook until heated through.
  8. Serve immediately.
